New regulations concerning the preparation, signature and submission of financial statements became effective as of 1 October 2018. As result of those changes, financial statements must be prepared in electronic form (XML format), signed by all management board members with a qualified electronic signature and submitted to the National Court Register (KRS) through the free RDF system (using an electronic signature identified based on the Polish Resident Identification Number (PESEL) or the ePUAP platform) or the paid S-24 system (using an electronic signature that does not need to be identified based on PESEL or the ePUAP platform).
In case of any doubts as to what steps you should take to be fully prepared to submit the financial statements in line with the new regulations, please fill out the contact form.
We also point out that the procedures of obtaining a PESEL number or a qualified electronic signature depending on the circumstances may take a longer time, therefore we recommend taking all necessary actions in good time.
Should you be interested in receiving PKF’s support in the subsequent steps, do not hesitate to contact us. Please note that PESEL assignment or accreditation for the qualified electronic signature can be a lengthy process, so we recommend initiating the required activities in due advance.
