On October 15th, we celebrate the European Breast Cancer Day. The entire month of October is considered to be the month of awareness and fight against breast cancer, the symbol of which is the pink ribbon.

In PKF, women constitute about 75% of the team, which is why we are joining the "pink October" campaign once again.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the world. In Poland alone, 18-19 thousand people are detected during the year. cases, and 6 thousand. patients die. Unfortunately, it is worrying that the incidence and mortality of breast cancer continues to rise. This is often related to the fact that too few women come to prophylactic mammography examinations, which can detect cancer early in development. Too late diagnosis can lead to irreversible consequences.

The Pink October campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of mammograms and encourage women to use them regularly. Prevention is of great importance, so it is worth taking care of your health and that of your loved ones, especially in such difficult times.
