Grażyna Sadowska-Malczewska, Managing Partner of BPO at PKF Poland, joined this special charitable initiative organized by the Ewa Błaszczyk “Akogo?” Foundation. The initiative consisted of taking part in a professional photoshoot for a charity calendar, with all proceeds going toward the Foundation’s statutory goals – helping people in a coma and developing innovative medical solutions in this field.

The “Akogo?” Foundation, established in 2002 by Ewa Błaszczyk together with Fr. Wojciech Drozdowicz, has for over two decades been carrying out activities in Poland to support patients in a coma and their families. It was the Foundation that initiated, among other things, the treatment program for children in a coma in phase B, and it also built the “Budzik” Clinic – the first model rehabilitation center in Poland for children in a coma. Thanks to the Foundation’s cooperation with outstanding specialists, including Prof. Wojciech Maksymowicz, a treatment program for adults was also launched, which made it possible to open the first awakening ward for adults at the University Clinical Hospital in Olsztyn.

Grażyna Sadowska-Malczewska’s participation in the photoshoot is not only symbolic, but also very practical – the “Akogo?” calendars have for years been an important element of the Foundation’s campaigns, bringing together the worlds of culture, business and medicine around one common goal: restoring patients to life and consciousness.

“It is a privilege to support a Foundation that is genuinely changing Polish medicine and giving families hope. At PKF we believe that business responsibility is also expressed through being present where a voice, attention and resources are needed,” said Grażyna Sadowska-Malczewska.

The “Akogo?” Foundation continues its efforts to bring to Poland the world’s latest medical achievements related to coma treatment, develops scientific cooperation and runs educational campaigns to raise public awareness of this highly complex issue. That is why, as PKF Poland, we are proud to support projects that combine professionalism, empathy and a real impact on patients’ lives.

We encourage you to follow the activities of the “Akogo?” Foundation and to support its initiatives – including through the purchase of the charity calendar.
