Last weekend, Zielona Góra once again became the center of Polish snooker. The 8th Polish Championship of Business, Arts and Sport took place at the modern Snooker Academy run by Marcin Nitschke – a unique event bringing together the worlds of sport, business, and culture.
A unique format that connects communities
The tournament stands out among other sporting events in Poland. It is not only a competition at the green table, but above all a platform for meetings and relationship-building between representatives of various environments:
• entrepreneurs and business leaders
• athletes and snooker enthusiasts
• actors, artists, and people of culture
This year’s edition gathered around 36 participants, including well-known figures from Polish film and television, such as Leszek Lichota, Bartłomiej Topa, Przemysław Sadowski, Wojciech Solorz, and Ewa Błachnio.
Marcin Nitschke’s Academy – a snooker hub in Poland
The event was hosted by Marcin Nitschke’s Snooker Academy – one of the most modern and largest snooker venues in the country, and possibly even in this part of Europe.
It is not only a tournament venue, but also a place dedicated to training young talents and promoting the discipline in Poland. The ambition of the project is to position Zielona Góra as an important point on the global snooker map.
Marcin Nitschke – also an ambassador of our brand, PKF Polska – has been consistently building a passionate snooker community for years, which was clearly visible throughout the entire weekend.
Competition, emotions and networking
The tournament combined both sporting and business dimensions. Alongside high-level competition, the event created space for:
• building business relationships
• exchanging experiences
• integrating different professional communities
The atmosphere proved that snooker is a sport that perfectly combines elegance, focus, and strategic thinking – values that resonate strongly with the business world.
PKF Polska’s presence
As an event partner, we had the pleasure of actively participating in this unique initiative.
Representing PKF Polska at the tables were:
• Rafał Barycki
• Mariusz Kuciński
Their presence was not only a sporting contribution but also a reflection of the values we promote – commitment, development, and collaboration.
The 8th Polish Championship of Business, Arts and Sport in Snooker confirmed that Zielona Góra is becoming one of the key snooker centers in Poland.
It is an event that:
• builds bridges between different communities
• promotes sport in a modern format
• shows that networking can go hand in hand with sporting competition
We are already looking forward to the next edition.
