Artificial intelligence is playing an ever-greater role in the audit process – from data analysis to sustainability assurance.
Ewa Jakubczyk-Cały, President of PKF Poland and statutory auditor, emphasises, however, that even the most advanced algorithms will not replace two pillars of the profession: ethics and professional scepticism, and the personal responsibility that comes with signing the audit opinion.
AI will raise the bar – the auditor of the future will need not only to understand accounting and auditing, but also to assess data quality and the logic of the models they are querying.
The wnp.pl portal has published an in-depth interview with Ewa Jakubczyk-Cały on the role of artificial intelligence in auditing.
We encourage you to read the full interview.
