Speakers
Magdalena Dominiak
A graduate of the Wrocław University of Economics (Finance and Banking). She holds the ACCA qualification and is a statutory auditor candidate. She developed her career mainly in the financial sector and at the consulting firm EY.
Her professional experience includes roles in finance, controlling, reporting, internal control, and risk management. For several years she has delivered advisory and audit projects, including in the ESG area. She has supported companies in developing ESG Strategies, implementing regulations and policies, and ESG reporting. She has prepared and delivered ESG trainings and webinars (CSRD, Taxonomy, SFDR, CSDD).
Co-author of the textbook “Insurance” (PWE, 2024), co-author of the Polish Climate Report “The Climate of Rising Losses” developed in cooperation with PIU, and author of articles on ESG. As ESG Director, she effectively supports PKF Consult clients in comprehensive ESG management and ensures services are delivered at the highest level.
Tomasz Dobkowski
An experienced manager and leading expert in projects related to implementing regulations in IT and business, such as SOX, Recommendation D, NIS, and NIS2. He participated in work on Poland’s climate strategy, focused on transforming key industrial sectors to reduce GHG emissions and reduce final energy demand. He developed business and regulatory models for energy storage for the largest players in the Polish market and for ministries. He was involved in building the market and production model for biomethane and bio-LNG.
His portfolio includes projects in sustainable business development and ESG, covering: building, identifying, and transforming business models; analyses of the impact of business models and the value chain on stakeholders; developing decarbonization strategies and monitoring metrics; developing and implementing ESG strategies and monitoring them; building corporate governance and risk management. He co-created sustainability reports for companies such as Apator S.A., Pekabex S.A., and Seco/Warwick S.A.
