PKF Poland opens a new branch in Szczecin – a strategic step into the north-western market
PKF Poland, one of the country’s leading audit and consulting firms and a member of the international PKF Global network, announces the opening of a new branch in Szczecin. This is the company’s tenth location in Poland and part of a long-term growth strategy based on analyzing the potential of regional markets.
For nearly 35 years, our expert teams—auditors, certified accountants, certified HR/payroll specialists, tax advisors, attorneys, legal counsels, and financial analysts—have supported entrepreneurs in making strategic decisions.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive support in implementing effective business strategies, strengthening companies’ competitiveness, innovation, and credibility. We are here to enhance the transparency of Polish businesses and build the trust that translates into Poland’s economic outlook.
We operate in Poland’s largest cities: Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, Wrocław, Opole, Katowice, Gdańsk, Lublin, Zielona Góra, and now also Szczecin.
The opening of the Szczecin office responds to the rapidly evolving needs of companies in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship—a region of growing logistical, industrial, and technological significance.
The new location will give clients access to PKF Poland’s full range of services, including audit, tax advisory, accounting, consulting, ESG, payroll and bookkeeping services, as well as broadly understood controlling and management accounting.
“We have been watching the development of Szczecin and the entire West Pomeranian region for some time—and we have no doubt that it is one of the most dynamic regions in Poland. We are particularly impressed by its steady economic growth, ambitious municipal investments—with a budget of nearly one billion PLN for 2025—and decisive, pro-growth actions, including expanding international cooperation and an ability to attract foreign investors, among others from Germany, the Nordic countries, the USA, and the Netherlands.
The strong presence of the shipbuilding, chemical, paper, wood, renewable energy, agri-food, and logistics sectors shows that the region has solid foundations and a clear development outlook. Our interdisciplinary experience—gained precisely in these industries—gives us confidence that we can genuinely support local entrepreneurs and build lasting value together.
We see the opening of PKF Poland’s office in Szczecin not only as a new stage in our operations, but above all as an invitation to a partnership that—we are convinced—will benefit both sides.”

“We don’t open offices just to be present. We open them where we can truly support business growth. Our expansion is the result of deliberate planning, consistency, and ambition,” says Mariusz Kuciński, Partner at PKF Poland, adding that “each new location means local expert teams, global standards, and a real impact on the market.”
The Szczecin branch of PKF Consult will be led by Piotr Charytonowicz, a statutory auditor with over 20 years of experience in financial audit. He specializes in auditing financial statements prepared under both Polish Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Piotr Charytonowicz has extensive experience in accounting advisory, gained while working with companies across various sectors of the economy. Before joining PKF Consult, he built his career at firms belonging to the so-called Big Four, delivering projects for the largest entities operating on the domestic and international markets, as well as for local companies in the West Pomeranian region.
“Local entrepreneurs expect partnerships built on professionalism and an understanding of their realities. PKF Poland is entering this region with a concrete value proposition and quality on par with the best European standards,” comments Piotr Charytonowicz, Associate Partner at PKF Poland.
PKF Poland currently employs over 450 experts across 10 offices nationwide. The firm serves hundreds of domestic and international clients, combining local experience with global know-how through its membership in PKF Global, a network present in over 150 countries worldwide.
