Marcin Nitschke Wins the Polish Masters Championship for the Fourth Time in a Row

Marcin Nitschke — PKF Polska Ambassador and the tournament host—successfully defended the Polish Masters Championship title for the fourth consecutive time. At the 2026 Polish Masters Championships in Zielona Góra, he defeated Jarosław Kowalski from Warsaw 3–1 in the final, while Rafał Górecki (also from Warsaw) claimed the bronze medal.
This year’s championships brought together 66 players from across Poland in the 40+ category. The entire tournament took place in a special venue—the newly opened Marcin Nitschke Snooker Academy at 16 Moniuszki Street in Zielona Góra.
“I’m happy and moved, because this victory tastes especially sweet at home, with my own supporters, in a place that lives and breathes snooker. It only confirms one thing: when you play among your own, for your own—these walls really do help,” Marcin Nitschke commented.

PKF Polska as the main event partner
The main partner of the 2026 Polish Masters Championships was PKF Polska. The trophies were presented to the winners by Ewa Jakubczyk-Cały and Mariusz Kuciński. Monika Huzarska, Director of PKF’s Zielona Góra office, was also in attendance.
Another snooker celebration coming soon
In the last weekend of March (28–29 March 2026), Zielona Góra will once again become the capital of Polish snooker, hosting the 8th Polish Championships for Business, Artists and Sport. Of course—we’ll be there!
