The Power of PKF in Action: changing the world step by step

December at PKF once again proved that helping is not a one-off impulse, but a permanent part of our culture. Branches all over Poland – from Wrocław and Opole, through Łódź, Poznań and Katowice, to Gdańsk and Warsaw – organized local support actions for care institutions, children’s homes and foundations. Different places, different needs, one common denominator: to do good with class, quietly, effectively.

Wrocław and Opole – combined forces

Two branches that have been proving for years that cooperation knows no boundaries joined forces to support the Care and Treatment Facility in Opole. It was more than material help – it was an act of solidarity with those who need daily care. Actions like this build a sense of community and show that together we can do more.

Łódź – gifts that matter

The Łódź team donated gifts to the Dobrodzieje Foundation. It wasn’t about the number of items, but about attentiveness – about giving with respect, discreetly and in line with actual needs. It’s an example of support that doesn’t seek publicity, but truly helps.

Poznań – more than a package

The Poznań branch prepared gifts for children from a children’s home – games, sweets and small presents. It may sound simple, but it’s exactly such gestures that are remembered the longest. It was a good moment to show that even a small gift can carry the message: someone is thinking of you.

Katowice – quiet efficiency

The Katowice team prepared parcels for the Camillian Care and Treatment Centre in Hutki. Everything – as always – done professionally and without fanfare. This is help that doesn’t need a stage. What counts is the result and commitment.

Gdańsk – support for body and soul

Gdańsk supported the Care and Treatment Facility of the Archdiocese of Gdańsk by financing the purchase of two cross trainers to aid residents in everyday rehabilitation. They also added a box full of sweets – because care is also about small joys. A mix of practical help and a warm gesture – this is exactly how we understand social responsibility.

Warsaw – wishes fulfilled at “Dom Ciepła”

The Warsaw team supported the “Dom Ciepła” Care and Treatment / Rehabilitation and Readaptation Centre in Rembertów. PKF employees bought gifts according to the residents’ wish lists, so that what reached them was truly “theirs”. This is support that goes beyond Christmas and beyond material items – it is attentiveness to the person.

Why do we do it?
Because we know that real change often happens locally and quietly. We don’t need applause – it’s enough to know that what we do matters. This December tradition is with us every year and it will stay. Because the strength of PKF is not only competence – it is people who want to help.
